Radiomaps.co.uk points visitors in the direction of online listening
From the author of the successful online radio website RadioFeeds.co.uk comes a unique and innovative way of listening to the UK's local radio stations on the internet.
Launched on Friday 5th November, RadioMaps.co.uk presents the local radio stations currently listed on RadioFeeds UK in a graphical way, allowing visitors to browse and click on an interactive map of the United Kingdom in order to choose a station to listen to.
At the time of launch, only the South East of England had been made available to view. New regions of the country will be rolled out twice weekly by order of popularity, to be determined by a poll on www.radiofeeds.co.uk.
Vincent Lo, the webmaster of the two websites said: "I'm really excited about the launch of RadioMaps.co.uk, and the new perspective and awareness it will put on the online listening of our country's fine set of radio stations. I even hope it'll help convince the small handful of radio stations yet to stream to consider taking their output and offering it on the World Wide Web."
RadioFeeds.co.uk currently gets over 50,000 visits each month from cyber-listeners from all over the world.
